Privacy Policy

Last updated September 2026

Pets Cemetery is designed around the principle that memorial content belongs to families, not to us. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can control it.

1. What we collect

Account information (email, display name, language), the memorial content you upload (photographs, videos, text, dates, optional resting place), tribute purchases and their payment references, and technical logs required to operate the service.

2. Memorial visibility

Every memorial has a visibility setting: public, unlisted or private. Public memorials are indexed by search engines unless you disable indexing. Unlisted memorials are accessible only via the direct link. Private memorials are visible only to you and invited contributors. Exact resting-place coordinates are never returned publicly by default.

3. Payments

Payments are processed by our payment provider. Pets Cemetery stores the payment reference and status; card and account details are held by the provider.

4. Your rights

You may export your data or delete your account at any time from the dashboard. Deletion removes memorial content according to the Data Export and Deletion policy.

5. Data retention

We keep active memorial content for the operational lifetime of Pets Cemetery under your chosen plan. Deleted content is removed from active systems and from backups on a defined schedule.
